The Missing (TV Series 2014 – 16)
Season 1:
When Tony and Emily Hughes travel to France with their 5-year-old son Oliver, their family holiday turns into a nightmare when Oliver disappears from a large celebrating crowd in Northern France.
Season 2 :
In 2003 Alice Webster is abducted in Germany. In 2014, just before Christmas, a barefoot and traumatised Alice re-appears in the same town. She claims that she was held captive with a French girl, Sophie Giroux, who went missing around the same time. Retired French detective Julien Baptiste, an expert on the Giroux case, investigates. He suspects that she may not be Alice.
My Review :
Who doesn't love the movie Prisoners...
Yeah that was a fantastic movie.
Prisoners held us in a slow fashion while also immersing us with an engaging story.
The missing also keeps us in such a mood.
Its not very dark or extremely sentimental...
Its human and sad.
A full on Emotional roller coaster.
Meanwhile also act as an edge of the seat nail biting thriller with its investigation and exciting story.
Also a must watch for Dennis Vellineuve and David Fincher fans....
